Lifetime membership card from the Alaska-Yukon Pioneers is engraved on a miniature gold-washing pan made of sterling silver. At one side of the pan is a small group of gold nuggets. Engraved around the edge of the interior is "PRESENTED TO WARREN G. HARDING / BY THE ALASKA-YUKON PIONEERS / THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES / TO PIONEER IN ALASKA." Engraved in the center of the pan is "MEMBERSHIP CARD / ALASKA-YUKON / PIONEERS / THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT / Warren G. Harding / THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE / UNITED STATES TO PIONEER IN ALASKA / IS A LIFE MEMBER / OF THIS ORGANIZATION. / SEATTLE LODGE / NO. I / JULY 2701923." The plate bears the signatures of A.J. Goddard, president, and D.H. McDonald, secretary.
